Other Opportunities
Job Shadowing
Students can job shadow any company or business anytime during the year as an excused absence. Students can begin job shadowing as early as 9th grade. Job shadowing allows students to shadow a business professional for a few hours or a full day to see what the day to day life is like for that occupation. This allows students to consider if they would still like to pursue that occupation after they leave high school.
Internships
Internships are available to Juniors and Seniors. Students are welcomed to find their own internships at any place they desire. If an Internship is found, please contact Mr. Walker to complete the process. Students that complete an Internship receive Honors credit. Internship students are only scheduled for three classes for the semester. See more information here.
